I Turned My Football Game into a Real Physics Based Simulation.

But, there is another way to display a football match. A more modern way. A way that might revolutionise how this game looks long term. What you’re about to see is my procedural animation model after around 1bn training steps. The target is to get another 5bn trained on it to make it look more natural, responsive and stable. So this is it, the first version of my procedural animation model. Every single animation you’re seeing here is created on the fly by the player, so unlike before where to turn they’d have to time a motion captured animation to connect with the ball, now they have learnt what a dribble, kick, run or control animation looks like, and are imitating the movement of arms, ankles, legs and body to create completely new animations during the games.
