BAREFOOT | Run Wild, Live Free | Nordic Folk & Old Norse

BAREFOOT — a joyful Nordic folk song about freedom, summer, nature and the simple feeling of being alive. Walk through the grass. Feel the cold river beneath your feet. Let the sun touch your face. Leave the noise behind. BAREFOOT blends Old Norse-inspired vocals, rhythmic tagelharpa, deep Nordic drums, ethereal female harmonies and a touch of Slavic folk energy into something lighter, warmer and more playful than our usual journey into the North. I need no gold. I need no throne. Give me the wild... And call it home. This is the first song from WHEN THE EARTH SINGS — a new NORDVAR journey celebrating summer, nature, freedom, dance and the joy hidden in the old ways. WHEN THE EARTH SINGS A collection of joyful Nordic folk songs coming over the next weeks. If this song makes you want to take your shoes off and disappear into the forest for a while... it has done its job. ᛉ NORDVAR #NordicFolk #OldNorse #VikingMusic #Tagelharpa #Nordvar
