🔗 Save $3,000 A Year the Mountain Way. Get the Full Manual 👉 https://www.arliecaudill.com Most folks pick a pineapple with their eyes, and that is how they end up with a sour one. My Mamaw never held a fresh pineapple in her life. But she taught me how ripe fruit gives itself away, down in her muskmelon patch when I was nine years old. Here I show you how Ruby and I pick a sweet pineapple at the store in about five seconds. Lift it, turn it over, and smell the bottom. I tell you what the eyes, the color, the leaves, and a press of your thumb can tell you, and what they cannot. I also tell you the one mistake that wastes more good pineapples than anything else. Then I show you how we cut one at home with no peeling and no mess, and how to put a good edge on your knife with the bottom of a coffee mug. It costs you nothing, and it is how we do it up Rockhouse Creek. Tell me in the comments what county you are in and how old your house is. I read every one. #AppalachianWisdom #PineappleHacks #HowToPickAPineapple #KitchenTips #OldWaysOfLiving #MountainLiving #SaveMoneyOnGroceries
