These are ten towns in middle and west Georgia where the typical home costs less than the typical Georgia home, about three hundred thirty one thousand dollars on Zillow's August reading, and every one sits under the national violent crime rate in the FBI's 2025 figures. I'm Cal Reeves. I work relocation files for people moving into Georgia, mostly retirees from up north or from Florida, and I drive these roads before I tell you about them. For each town I give you the Zillow price, the police department's own FBI numbers, a Census commute figure, the nearest hospital checked against the current Medicare listing, one real thing to do on a Saturday, and the catch. We start in Grantville and Bremen and work down to a Middle Georgia county seat where the average commute is about fourteen minutes, half the state average. Along the way, Manchester has the cheapest typical home of the ten at about one hundred twenty nine thousand dollars, and Cave Spring reported zero violent crimes in 2025.
