This Transparent CD Player Turns Music Into Wall Art

SYITREN has introduced the RM1, a transparent CD player designed to turn physical music into a visible part of your room. Instead of hiding the disc inside a dark plastic case, the RM1 uses a clear acrylic frame that shows the spinning CD, internal mechanism and electronics. The player can sit on a desk with detachable supports or be mounted directly on a wall like a piece of audio art. It supports regular CDs, MP3 and WMA playback, includes soft lighting, a small display, basic track information and playback controls. There is no built-in speaker, so the RM1 is not a standalone audio system. Sound is sent through Bluetooth 5.3 to wireless headphones or speakers, or through a 3.5mm AUX output to wired audio gear. The built-in 2,000 mAh battery is rated for around 6 to 8 hours of playback. The RM1 is still a Kickstarter product, and SYITREN has acknowledged that some details are still being refined, including acrylic clarity, assembly accuracy, vertical playback stability and battery performance. But the idea is clear: CDs are becoming aesthetic objects again, not just old storage media. In this Xenon Lab News episode, we look at why the SYITREN RM1 is getting attention, how it mixes retro audio with modern design, and why physical music may be making a stylish comeback. #SYITREN #RM1 #CDPlayer #TransparentCDPlayer #RetroTech #PhysicalMedia #BluetoothAudio #AudioGear #MusicTech #TechNews #XenonLab
