Description
Want to escape the US mainland without losing your benefits? These 4 secret American territories let you move for $0 — zero visa needed, no permits, no immigration lawyers.

Legally, it's the same as moving from Ohio to Florida, and you keep Medicare moving abroad, plus your Social Security payments follow you.
We rank the best American territories on what really matters after 45: healthcare depth, real monthly costs, safety, and how fast you can get back to family.
First, the Saipan cost of living in the Northern Marianas — the lowest rents of all, from just $600 a month.
Then, moving to USVI: if you want to retire in St Croix, we break down St Croix living costs, the EDC tax program, and the risks nobody mentions.
Next, moving to Guam — Hawaii's climate at half the housing cost, with the strongest hospitals in the US Pacific. And finally, our winner: moving to Puerto Rico.
From retiring in Puerto Rico on $2,000 a month to Puerto Rico tax benefits under the Puerto Rico Act 60, it takes the crown for cheap places to retire.
If you're dreaming of an affordable island retirement — sun, low costs, US law, and US dollars — these are the cheapest US territories and the easiest places to move to without a stamp in your passport.
Watch to the end to see which island fits you, and subscribe for more relocation guides!

🔎 EXCERPT 🔎
You've probably already run the numbers on moving abroad.
The residency visa. The proof of income. Tthe sworn translator, the immigration lawyer and all those fees.
And under all of it, the question nobody answers is: what happens to my Medicare? My Social Security? My pension?
Now cross all of that off your list.
Because today I will show you four places where an American can arrive, sign a lease, and simply live — permanently.
No need for a visa or a permit.
No immigration officer with an opinion about you.
There, Social Security still pays you.
Medicare is still accepted.
You keep your passport and your dollars.
These places are not loopholes.
They are American soil.
And almost nobody thinks about them when looking for a place to live a better life for a much lower price.
Because we've been trained to think 'moving abroad' always means a border, a visa, a stamp
Of course each of these forgotten place have multiple pros, and some cons.
One's a genuine bargain but sometimes there are hurricanes.
And another has a crime problem similar to Philadelphia – but at least with much lower property prices.
Still, all of them are truly beautiful, sunny places.
But
What does it mean to be “an American Territory”? Is it the same as a US State?
Well, no. But they are not a completely different country either.
Legally, moving to any of these four places is the same as moving from Ohio to Florida. Change of address, local driver's license, done. No visa, no permit, no minimum investment. That's the "$0."
