Pastor Bungingo has announced that his father Bugingo will be buried in a Kigali city cementery in Rwanda because according to the laws of tge country all dead people are buried in cementries so the body will be laid to rest in Rusororo cementry. Its not clear if his followers will be able to attend the burial given the high costs of transport and strict Rwandan laws which are different from those in Uganda Justice David Matovu has dismissed the bail application for Salongo Erias Lukwago. The court ruled that the defense failed to provide a certified prison medical report proving that Luzira Prison cannot manage Lukwago's medical condition. Justice Matovu ordered the case file transferred to a new judge for trial. No new bail hearing date has been scheduled. Businessman and insurance broker Tejas Patel has been granted bail by the Makindye Magistrate’s Court, where he faces 15 counts of alleged aggravated human trafficking. The court granted Patel cash bail of Shs7 million, while each surety was bonded at Shs100 million, not cash. Patel is expected to return to court on November 9, 2026. The alleged offences are said to have occurred in Muyenga, Makindye Division, Kampala, between February and September 2026.
