40 DAYS OF SILENCE: WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN THE VALLEY

For forty days, an entire army stood in silence. Across the valley, a giant warrior stepped forward again and again, challenging Israel to send one man to fight him. King Saul had an army. Israel had weapons. But fear had taken control. Then a young shepherd arrived. David was not supposed to be on that battlefield. He had come only to deliver food to his brothers. But when he heard Goliath's challenge, something changed. Why did David step forward when trained soldiers refused? What happened during those forty days that brought Israel's army to a standstill? And how did a shepherd with a sling end a battle that an entire army was afraid to fight? This cinematic Bible documentary takes you into the valley of Elah and follows the events surrounding David and Goliath—from the terrifying challenge of the Philistine champion to the moment David finally stood before him.
