DANCE WITH THE FIREFLIES | Nordic × Slavic Folk Music | NORDVAR

DANCE WITH THE FIREFLIES is a joyful Nordic × Slavic folk song inspired by warm summer nights, ancient melodies, barefoot dancing and the small lights that awaken when the sun disappears. This song marks a lighter side of NORDVAR. Not every old song needs to speak of war, loss or forgotten gods. There were nights for fire, laughter and dancing too. Here, Nordic sounds meet the spirit of Slavic folk music — tagelharpa, deep frame drums, communal chants, ethereal female voices and rhythms made for dancing beneath the open sky. Follow the lights into the night. Leave tomorrow for tomorrow. And dance while the fireflies are still awake. DANCE WITH THE FIREFLIES is part of our new collection WHEN THE EARTH SINGS — music inspired by summer, nature, old traditions and the meeting point between the Nordic and Slavic worlds. If this song finds something ancient in you, sing with us. NORDVAR
