UK 1979 Missing Person Case | The 24-Year-Old Who Vanished From Smethwick

Devinder Pal Singh Anand vanished from Smethwick in 1979, and this British true crime documentary explores the central mystery of what happened after he was last seen there at age 24. Missing People continues to carry an appeal, while the public record gives no verified route, destination, vehicle, companion or precise account of his final movements. A renewed appeal in 2025 and later regional coverage kept the disappearance in public view without providing a resolution. Watch the full documentary for a careful reconstruction of what can still be verified, and what remains unknown. 🔔 Subscribe for more fact based true crime, cold cases, and dark history. ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/@HauntedRecord?sub_confirmation=1 00:00 - The Disappearance of Devinder Anand 01:21 - The Few Facts That Remain 02:17 - Smethwick in 1979 03:24 - What We Know About Devinder 04:20 - His Last Known Day 06:19 - When His Absence Was Noticed 07:13 - The Missing Police Record 08:19 - No Confirmed Physical Evidence 09:18 - The Missing People Appeal 10:54 - The 2025 Renewed Appeal 11:47 - The Express and Star Coverage 12:26 - Speculation Versus Evidence 14:04 - The Lost Records Question 15:42 - What Can Actually Be Verified 16:37 - The Family Details We Do Not Have 18:18 - The Case Remains Unresolved 19:44 - Why This Missing Person Case Still Haunts 21:26 - The Final Unanswered Questions ⚠️ Disclaimer This video is based entirely on publicly available sources.
