Description

OneCoin CryptoQueen Ruja Ignatova ran a $4 billion crypto Ponzi scheme, then vanished. Is the FBI Most Wanted fugitive missing or murdered? Dr. Ruja Ignatova launched OneCoin in 2014 and pitched it as the Bitcoin killer. Three million investors across 175 countries bought in through educational packages, WhatsApp groups and sold-out arena events like Wembley. There was no blockchain. The price only went up because someone in Sofia typed it in. In October 2017, a sealed US federal warrant was signed in New York. Thirteen days later, Ruja flew from Sofia to Athens on a German passport and disappeared. The promoters told investors the banks had kidnapped her. Sales kept going. Then in 2022, a police report surfaced in the safe of a murdered Bulgarian police chief. It claimed Ruja was killed on a yacht in the Ionian Sea on the orders of drug trafficker Hristoforos "Taki" Amanatidis. Since then, one witness has been shot, another killed with his family in Cape Town, and her crisis manager, former Luxembourg intelligence officer Frank Schneider, cut off his ankle monitor and disappeared. German investigators are now following leads to South Africa, and the FBI reward stands at $5 million. Is the OneCoin CryptoQueen dead at the bottom of the sea, or living under a new face in a gated compound? This Power & Ruin documentary follows the promoter, the office worker and the clerk who filed the report, to find out why three million people never asked to see the ledger. Featuring the stories of Ruja Ignatova, Konstantin Ignatov, Sebastian Greenwood, Mark Scott, Frank Schneider, Björn Bjercke and the Bulgarian underworld figures tied to her disappearance. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📩 Power & Ruin Collapse Playbook Investigating 200+ Companies with Bonus Theranos Case File : → news.powerandruin.com/subscribe ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ About Power & Ruin Power & Ruin investigates the psychology behind companies, movements, and belief systems that reshaped the world, and why their collapse was inevitable.
