Description

You were fine until you got close. The thing you prayed about for years finally starts moving—and suddenly the resistance changes. Distractions appear. People misunderstand you. Fear starts sounding like wisdom. Even people close to you may begin pulling you away from what God called you to finish. In Nehemiah 6, the wall is almost complete when the opposition becomes more strategic. Instead of simply attacking Nehemiah openly, his enemies use four different tactics to get him off the wall: a reasonable invitation, public accusations, fear disguised as spiritual counsel, and compromised insiders. In this Bible teaching, we explore spiritual discernment, opposition, distraction, false accusations, fear, obedience, perseverance, God's calling, and finishing what God has given you to do. You'll also learn an important distinction: not everything difficult is an attack. Some things are consequences, some are ordinary struggles, and some may even be God's pruning. Discernment means learning to tell the difference rather than assuming every problem comes from the enemy. Comment declaration: “I'm not coming down.” Then name the one thing that has been trying to pull you away from your assignment lately. If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who is close to finishing what God called them to do, and subscribe to Bible Purpose for more biblical teaching about purpose, faith, discernment, and God's Word.
