Description

In this video, I replace both the left and right rear wheel speed sensors for the ABS system. As wheel speed sensors get old or begin to fail, they may produce an inaccurate or intermittent signal. This can cause the vehicle’s computer to detect a problem with the ABS system and illuminate the ABS warning light, service/ABS light, or other dashboard warning indicators. The good news is that replacing these sensors can be a fairly straightforward repair. In this video, I show the process step by step, including removing the old sensors, installing the new ones, and getting everything back together properly. 🔧 In this video: Symptoms of a faulty ABS wheel speed sensor Replacing the left rear sensor Replacing the right rear sensor Step-by-step installation If you're experiencing an ABS warning light or suspect a rear wheel speed sensor may be causing the problem, this video will give you a good look at what is involved in replacing them.
