HARVEST | A Nordic Song of Thanks to the Earth

HARVEST — an ancient-inspired Nordic folk song celebrating the Earth, the changing seasons, and the simple gift of having enough. The sun warmed the fields. The rain fell upon the soil. The grain rose. The fruit ripened. And now we gather. For most of human history, harvest was more than a season. It meant food on the table, warmth in the hall, bread through the winter and another year of life. HARVEST returns to that simple relationship between people and the land. Grain from the earth. Bread from the grain. Life from the bread. Life from the earth. “Jǫrð gefr...” — The Earth gives. “Vér höfum nóg...” — We have enough. Through Old Norse-inspired vocals, ethereal female voices, tagelharpa, flute and deep frame drums, HARVEST celebrates not wealth or excess, but something much older: Enough. Enough grain. Enough fruit. Enough warmth. Enough to share. Enough to be grateful. The seasons turn. Summer fades. The harvest comes home. And for one more year, the table is full. NORDVAR Ancient echoes.
