La fortuna viene dal cielo - Starring Anna Magnani & Vera Carmi - HD

An unforgettable classic Italian drama. The merchant Giovanni Illes is relentlessly tracked down by his creditors, facing imminent bankruptcy with no means to settle his mounting debts. Desperate to save her father from financial ruin and social disgrace, his devoted daughter Anna takes matters into her own hands and goes to speak with the creditors' powerful lawyer, pleading for an extension. The lawyer agrees to grant the delay, but his assistance comes with a dark and hidden price. He begins to make aggressive and inappropriate physical advances. Though Anna fiercely tries to defend herself and maintain her dignity, his position of power threatens to dominate the situation and her life. A gripping tale of desperation, sacrifice, and the struggle against exploitation in times of hardship.
