How Millions of Trout Are Raised at a Fish Hatchery (Erwin National Fish Hatchery)

Go behind the scenes at the Erwin National Fish Hatchery in Erwin, Tennessee, to see how millions of trout begin their lives. In this video, we get an inside look at trout spawning season and the process that most anglers never get to see. From handling the adult trout to collecting eggs, fertilizing them, and caring for the next generation of fish, the hatchery staff walks us through how the entire operation works. The Erwin National Fish Hatchery plays an important role in raising trout that will eventually be stocked into rivers and lakes throughout the region and beyond. A huge thank you to the staff at the Erwin National Fish Hatchery for taking the time to show us around and explain the process. And the next time you hook a trout, just remember — it may have started its life right here at the Erwin National Fish Hatchery. #TroutFishing #FishHatchery #Trout #Fishing #ErwinTennessee Support the channel: Join my Patreon Page for $5 monthly fishing reports here in East Tennessee: www.patreon.com/c/Trifisher ▶ EMAIL FOR BUSINESS INQUIRIES: [email protected]
