US Navy's NEW Weapon Is Already On a Destroyer — And Only ONE Warship Has It

The US Navy has a new weapon on its destroyers, and right now only ONE warship carries it: the USS Mustin. The Mark 38 Mod 4 pairs a 30mm cannon with a .50 caliber machine gun mounted on top, built to stop drones and small boats. In this video we look at what the Mark 38 Mod 4 is, how it works, and why the US Navy wants it. We also cover where it came from, why only one Arleigh Burke class destroyer has it so far, which ships are expected to get it next, and what other close-in weapons the US Navy uses to protect its warships. ✅ Subscribe to The Navy Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZCEeYtzzrbaVz4SRH8PZdw?sub_confirmation=1 #USNavy #USSMustin #NavalWeapons #WeaponSystems ------------------------------------------------------------- 📢 Disclaimer: This channel is exclusively intended for entertainment, informative, and educational purposes.
