THE DAY BOSTON WAS HIT BY A DEADLY WAVE OF MOLASSES 🌊 #History #DarkHistory #timelineofhistory

On January 15, 1919, Boston was hit by one of the strangest disasters in American history. A massive industrial tank suddenly burst, releasing more than two million gallons of molasses into the streets. The wave was reportedly around 15 feet high, destroying buildings, crushing vehicles, and trapping people in the thick syrup. 21 people were killed and around 150 were injured. The Great Molasses Flood of 1919 remains one of the most bizarre industrial disasters in history. #BostonMolassesDisaster #MolassesFlood #HistoricalEvents #BostonHistory #DisasterHistory #WeirdHistory #BostonTragedy #1919Disaster #MolassesWave #HistoryNerd #TrueCrimeHistory #BostonStrong #UnusualDisasters #HistoryDocumentary #LearnFromHistory #BostonStories #AmericanHistory #CrisisManagement #NaturalDisasters #UrbanLegends #HistoryBuff #EducationalContent #HistoricalDocumentary #BostonMassachusetts #MolassesIncident #HistoryFacts #DisasterPreparedness #BostonHeritage #CulturalHistory #FascinatingHistory
