Three days ago the government threw away every income limit it had been using since last autumn. Every deduction. Every benefit amount. All of it, replaced overnight, and nobody wrote to tell you. So a refusal you were handed this spring was worked out with numbers that stopped existing on the first of October, and nobody goes back and runs that decision again. Three things changed that week and every one of them moves in your direction if somebody sixty or over lives in your house.
