Description

📖 Get The Old Gun Hand, fifty years at the gunsmith's bench, written down: https://ivansjournal.com In 1956, a deer hunter could walk into the woods with an iron-sighted rifle, a handful of loose cartridges in his coat pocket, and no idea what a rangefinder was. And a lot of those men still brought meat home every single fall. Now we carry two thousand dollars of glass, a ballistic app, a bipod, and a phone that knows the wind speed, and I've watched good men with all of that miss a standing deer at a distance their grandfathers would have called easy. This isn't a nostalgia video. The gear is good, and I use it. The mistake is letting gear replace skills that cost nothing. Those hunters weren't better people, and they weren't always safer, blaze orange is proof some things deserved to disappear. But judging distance, holding steady, reading the land, and walking away from a shot you shouldn't take never stopped being valuable. We just stopped practicing it. Which one of these did somebody teach you, and which one should stay lost?
