Description

7 New Details We Missed in Avengers Doomsday Trailer Explained There is a piece of red glass on Doctor Doom's armor that Marvel did not show you in July. It wasn't in the first trailer. It wasn't on any poster. And once you know where to look, you cannot unsee it. Here's the timeline. The July trailer gave us Doom on his throne, no red anything. The banners and posters that followed, still nothing. Then Comic-Con hits Hall H, Marvel puts a physical suit of the armor on the convention floor, and there it is: a small red stone set into the clasp on the left side of the chest, sitting there in the lighting rigs for anyone who walked past to photograph. That same night, the Hall H-exclusive footage showed the same detail in motion, and when the new trailer dropped on August 15, you can see it clearly in the crane shot that drifts down over Doom's hood toward his mask. Two Latverian witches are standing near him in that same shot. Once you know what you're looking for, it's not subtle. It's just been sitting there in plain sight since San Diego. So what is it. The obvious guess, the one every Marvel theorist jumps to the second they see an unexplained gem, is an Infinity Stone. Specifically the Reality Stone, given the color. And honestly? That's probably the right instinct. But I don't think this is a one-stone story. I think Doom might be working with more than one, and that's a much bigger problem for the Avengers than a single glowing rock. This video covers the red stone on Doctor Doom's armor and where it appeared, from the Comic-Con Hall H suit to the August 15 trailer. It looks at Doom stopping Stormbreaker with two fingers and how that compares to Thanos in Infinity War. It explains why the MCU suggests every universe has its own set of Infinity Stones, using the TVA's drawer of stones in Loki and the Earth-838 Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It breaks down the green glow on the reactivated Sentinels and its link to the Time Stone, the Endgame Encore trailer and Steve Rogers returning the stones, and the Ancient One's apology to Bruce Banner. It also covers the two hooded Latverian witches and the unconfirmed Clea, corrupted Doctor Strange, and Wanda variant theories, Sue Storm's voiceover, Hickman's 2015 Secret Wars and God Emperor Doom, and the tower window shot with Mjolnir and Doom's three-point landing. 🔔 Subscribe for more Marvel breakdowns. #AvengersDoomsday #DoctorDoom #TrailerBreakdown
