Description

One yes-or-no question, asked again and again. At a congressional task force hearing, Rep. Brandon Gill presses an American Bar Association witness on diversity, equity, and inclusion. He opens with the ABA's own mission statement, then asks whether any of the roughly 116 Supreme Court justices in history was transgender, and whether the next one should be. The witness says the ABA supports diversity in all its forms but sets no quotas. Then comes the question at the center of the hearing: should race be a factor in law school admissions? She points to the Supreme Court's ruling and the ABA's commitment to following the law. Gill keeps asking. Watch the full exchange and judge for yourself.
