Description
What does math sound like? From basic polygons to chaotic fractals and projections of fourth-dimensional objects, every mathematical shape carries a hidden acoustic signature. In this video, I transform 69 math shapes, geometric curves, and mathematical symbols into sound using creative coding and parametric wave synthesis. As each shape is traced, its geometric axis is mapped to waveform frequencies, allowing pure geometry to generate sound in real time.
Featured Shapes include:
Basic Polygons: The classic shapes we all know.
Recursive Fractals: The infinite complexity of the Koch Snowflake, Dragon Curve, and Sierpinski-style gradients.
Higher-Dimensional Projections: Visualizations of the 4D Tesseract (Hypercube) and complex wireframe solids.
Complex Curves: Lissajous figures, complex spirals, lemniscates, and advanced parametric equations.
Space-Filling Curves: The geometric optimization of the Hilbert Curve.
Put on your best headphones for the full spatial experience of this mathematical soundscape. Let me know in the comments which shape's sound surprised you the most.
