The Hard Work of Persian Girls | Cleaning, Harvesting & Village Life

Welcome to Village Flavour! Spend another peaceful day with us in the heart of an Iranian village, where every moment is filled with tradition, nature, and homemade food. The day begins with Sogand feeding the geese, chickens, and little ducklings, making sure they have fresh food and clean water. Afterwards, she and Sona wash the porch, clean the stairs and rugs, and freshen up the courtyard as part of their daily village routine. Later, Sogand walks through the family garden to harvest fresh eggplants and tomatoes. Together, they prepare a delicious traditional Persian dish by carefully hollowing out the vegetables and filling them with a flavorful mixture of walnuts, herbs, spices, and traditional seasonings before frying them to perfection. Finally, the whole family gathers around the table to enjoy a warm homemade lunch, celebrating the simple joys of village life and traditional cooking.
