LEAKED: Louis Farrakhan's Speech That Got Him Blacklisted

In September 1985, Louis Farrakhan addressed approximately 18,000 people at the Forum in Inglewood, California, delivering a speech about the economic challenges facing Black Americans. More than four decades later, the address offers a revealing look at the economic conditions, political debates, and historical policies that shaped America during the 1980s. In this documentary, we revisit Farrakhan’s speech and examine its central arguments against historical records and official economic data. We explore Black unemployment, the decline of manufacturing jobs in major American cities, discriminatory housing policies, and the long-term effects of unequal access to economic opportunities. The documentary also examines the political context surrounding Farrakhan’s rise to national prominence, the legacy of Marcus Garvey, and the broader debate over economic independence, community development, and government responsibility. Importantly, we distinguish between claims supported by historical evidence and statistics that were exaggerated, outdated, or inaccurate. By examining both the strengths and limitations of Farrakhan’s arguments, we gain a clearer understanding of the issues he addressed and the circumstances surrounding his public legacy. **This documentary is presented for historical, educational, and analytical purposes.** It encourages viewers to examine historical claims critically and understand the events and policies that shaped the period.
