Every Ring of Power Explained: The Three, Seven, Nine & One - Lord of the Rings Explained

There were 20 Rings of Power, but they weren't all created at the same time, for the same people, or even for the same purpose. In this video, we're breaking down the complete story of the Rings of Power: how Celebrimbor and the Elven-smiths of Eregion came to make them, Sauron's role as Annatar, the creation of the Three Elven Rings, the Seven given to the Dwarves, the Nine that ultimately enslaved the Nazgûl, and the One Ring Sauron secretly forged in Mount Doom. We'll also look at what powers the Rings actually had, who possessed them, what happened to each of them, and why Sauron's plan didn't unfold quite the way he intended. From Vilya, Narya and Nenya to the rings consumed by dragons, the rise of the Ringwraiths, and the forging of the One Ring, this is the full history of all 20 Rings of Power and how they shaped the history of Middle-earth.
