We Found an RV Wash With STAIRS! | Ford Transit Van Life in Townsend TN

Finding windshield wiper blades for our Ford Transit camper van should have been a quick stop at the hardware store. But while exploring Townsend, Tennessee, we discovered something even better—a self-service RV wash with elevated steps that let you reach the roof of a tall camper van! Welcome back to Dash for Adventure! Today we're taking Mr. Dooley, our 2023 Ford Transit high-roof camper van, on a little maintenance adventure in beautiful Townsend, Tennessee, on the peaceful side of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our first stop is Elder's Ace Hardware in Townsend, TN, where we're searching for replacement windshield wiper blades for our Ford Transit. Anyone who owns a camper van, Class B RV, or full-size van knows that finding the right parts while traveling can turn into an adventure all by itself! While we're in the area, we also discover Townsend RV and Car Wash, a self-service RV washing facility located right beside Ace Hardware. And here's the exciting part: this RV wash has elevated steps that allow you to get up high enough to reach the roof of taller vehicles! If you own a Ford Transit high-roof camper van, Mercedes Sprinter, Ram ProMaster, Class B motorhome, or other tall RV, you know how difficult it can be to wash the roof. Most ordinary car washes simply aren't designed for oversized vehicles. Finding a DIY RV wash with elevated access is a welcome discovery for van life travelers and RV owners looking for a convenient place to clean their rigs. Whether you're traveling through Townsend, camping near Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or exploring the nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas, this might be a useful stop to remember for your next Smoky Mountain adventure. 📍 PLACES FEATURED IN THIS VIDEO 🔧 Elder's Ace Hardware – Townsend 8031 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Townsend, TN 37882 https://www.eldershardware.com/locations/townsend 🚐 Townsend RV and Car Wash 8023 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy, Townsend, TN 37882 🔍 IN THIS ADVENTURE 🚐 Traveling in Mr. Dooley, our Ford Transit camper van 🔧 Visiting Elder's Ace Hardware in Townsend, Tennessee 🧽 Searching for replacement Ford Transit windshield wiper blades 💦 Discovering a self-service RV and camper van wash 🪜 Finding elevated steps for reaching the roof of a high-roof van 🏔 Exploring the peaceful side of the Great Smoky Mountains ABOUT DASH FOR ADVENTURE We're all about getting out, exploring new places, discovering hidden gems, and enjoying the journey along the way!
