Description

On the seventh of February, 1967, a Green Beret named George Sisler ran through enemy fire, broke an assault alone, and was killed calling in air strikes. He became the first man from America's most secret unit to receive the Medal of Honor. His citation does not tell you what was in his hand. It was a pistol that fired rockets. This is a countdown of five weapons American grunts carried anyway: the revolver your family mailed you, the Gerber dagger the base store pulled as too brutal and the tomahawk ordered out of a magazine ad, the sterile guns of MACV-SOG, the Navy SEAL shotgun that sprayed sideways, and the enemy rifle the Army secretly sabotaged and then had to warn its own men to leave alone. Every claim sourced, every internet myth flagged. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📕 THE BOOKS BEHIND THIS VIDEO ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ BOOK ONE · The Documented History of MACV-SOG in Vietnam ($7.99) The ebook mentioned in the video. The Swedish K, the Gyrojet and Project Eldest Son are only the surface. This is the whole secret war in Laos and Cambodia: the missions, the arsenal, the men, and the myths, in six chapters. 👉 https://www.truevietnamdocs.com/sog BOOK TWO · The Documented History of the Gear of the Vietnam War ($8.99) The M16 part of this video, taken all the way down. The congressional subcommittee called the rifle "an excellent and reliable weapon." So what actually failed? The rifle, the ruck, the radio, the rations, the armor and the boots, in nine chapters and 193 pages. Two of our own films corrected by name. 👉 https://www.truevietnamdocs.com/gear 🎁 FREE for everyone: The One-Zero's Loadout Card, the 14 objects a SOG team leader carried across the fence, on one printable page: https://www.truevietnamdocs.com/MACV-SOG-Loadout-Card.pdf Buying for a father or grandfather who was over there? It is the most common reason people do. The Large Print Edition exists exactly for him. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎙 INTERVIEW CLIP Da
