Daily Bible Verse + Prayer for Today | Mark 9:24 | Morning Devotional

Do you believe in God but still struggle with doubt? Begin your day with Mark 9:24 and an honest morning prayer: “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” “And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” - Mark 9:24 (KJV) A desperate father came to Jesus after years of watching his son suffer. When the disciples could not help, he brought his worn and trembling hope to the Lord. His prayer held both belief and unbelief, and he was honest about both. Jesus did not send him away to perfect his faith. He delivered the boy, showing the father the power and mercy of the One he had come to for help.
