Are We Reading The Signs? | Divine Guidance - Friday, October 23, 2026
Our Mass Readings for today:
Friday, October 23, 2026
Friday of the Twenty-ninth Week in Ordinary Time
Reading 1: Ephesians 4:1–6
Resp: Psalm 24:1–2, 3–4ab, 5–6
Gospel: Luke 12:54–59
Are We Reading The Signs?
Today's readings call us to recognize God's presence and respond faithfully to His invitation. Saint Paul teaches that a life worthy of our calling is marked by humility, patience, gentleness, love, and unity, while Jesus challenges us to recognize the spiritual signs around us and seek reconciliation before it is too late. True discernment means not only seeing what is happening around us, but allowing God to change how we live.

Friday, October 23, 2026 - The Divine Guidance: Are We Reading The Signs?
Reflection: Are we attentive enough to recognize God's call and respond with faith?
Prayer: Loving Father, open our hearts to recognize Your presence and understand what You are asking of us. Give us humility to listen, wisdom to discern, and courage to change what needs to change in our lives. Help us seek reconciliation, forgive generously, and walk with patience and love. May we never ignore the opportunities You give us to return closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
