Jesus speaks of the fire He came to bring and warns that following Him may sometimes create division because the Gospel demands a genuine decision. We are called to remain faithful with courage and charity, allowing Christ's transforming love to change our hearts. === Thursday, October 22, 2026 - The Divine Guidance: The Fire Christ Brings Reflection: Are we willing to remain faithful when following Christ becomes difficult? Prayer: Loving Father, strengthen us through Your Holy Spirit and root our hearts deeply in the love of Christ. Give us courage to remain faithful when following Jesus becomes difficult, and keep us from responding to disagreement with anger or pride. May Your transforming fire purify our hearts, strengthen our faith, and help us bring Your love and truth into the world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. \=== Disclaimer: This video contains original reflections and commentary on the Catholic daily readings, produced by The Word Today TV.
