Today's readings remind us that Christ has brought us near to God and made us members of His household. The psalm celebrates God's mercy, faithfulness, justice, and peace, while Jesus calls His disciples to remain watchful and ready for His coming. Christian readiness means living faithfully in the present through prayer, service, love, and a heart that recognizes God's presence in ordinary moments. === Tuesday, October 20, 2026 - The Divine Guidance: Are We Ready For Christ? Reflection: Are we keeping our hearts ready for Christ through faith, prayer, and love? Prayer: Loving Father, keep our hearts awake and our faith alive as we wait for the coming of Christ. Help us remain faithful in prayer, generous in service, and ready to recognize Your presence in the people and moments You place before us. May we never allow busyness or distraction to separate us from You. Keep our lamps burning with faith, hope, and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. \=== Disclaimer: This video contains original reflections and commentary on the Catholic daily readings, produced by The Word Today TV.
