Jesus does not call us to create conflict. Instead, He reminds us that the truth of the Gospel demands a response, and faithfully following Him can sometimes bring misunderstanding or disagreement, even among those closest to us. May we have the courage to remain faithful to Christ without becoming harsh or judgmental. May His transforming fire purify our hearts and help us speak the truth with love, humility, and charity.
