I've never put these two exact things together before, and let me tell you, it was so worth it. Pumpkin and cheesecake in one pan makes such a delicious treat — and it's just right in time for pumpkin spice season. If you've been waiting all year long for that first taste of fall, this is the one. Jump on in and make them with me.

A NOTE ON THE TEXTURE:
There are no eggs in the pumpkin layer, and that's on purpose. It gives these bars more of a brownie texture instead of a cake texture. If you'd rather have them cakier, go ahead and add an egg to the pumpkin mixture.
