Groucho Turns This Actor's Blooper Into Comedy Gold

In this hilarious scene from the Marx Brothers' classic comedy Animal Crackers (1930), actor Louis Sorin, playing Roscoe W. Chandler, calls Groucho Marx by the wrong name. Groucho, playing the unforgettable Captain Spaulding, immediately turns the name mix-up into a wonderfully funny exchange. Before long, even Groucho is getting the names confused. It's a perfect example of Groucho's lightning-fast comic delivery, impeccable timing, and ability to make even the simplest misunderstanding absolutely hilarious. Animal Crackers was the Marx Brothers' second feature film, released in 1930 and based on their successful Broadway musical. #GrouchoMarx #MarxBrothers #AnimalCrackers #ClassicComedy #ComedyGold #MovieBloopers #1930sCinema #Bloopers
