Description

Your playbook for doing business in Asia : https://statrys.com/youtube?v=FnraS2GwJU8 Open a business account: https://statrys.com/getstarted?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=organic_video&utm_campaign=youtube_description&utm_content=FnraS2GwJU8 0:00 Intro 1:24 What Actually Happened 3:05 The Free Money 5:08 The Bank of the World Is Closing 7:10 Who Pays for It 8:50 The Part You Control 9:57 Conclusion The Japanese yen just fell to its weakest level against the dollar since 1986. To stop it, Tokyo walked into the market and spent around 85 billion dollars buying back its own currency in 48 hours. Washington joined in. The yen jumped 5%. Days later it was back where it started. Japan has two problems and can only fix one. The currency, and a debt load more than twice the size of its entire economy. The medicine for one is poison for the other. It is not just Japan's problem. For 30 years Japan lent the world money for almost nothing. That bank is now closing its doors, and it is doing it while every major government on earth needs to borrow more than ever. In this video I explain what is breaking, and the one thing you can actually control if your business buys in one currency and sells in another. #Yen #Japan #CarryTrade
