The Real "Gabbar" of Bikru — Vikas Dubey's True Story | 2D Animation

This documentary tells the complete, fact-based story of Vikas Dubey — the Kanpur gangster who built a 30-year criminal empire through political patronage across party lines, and whose ambush of a police team in Bikru village on July 2, 2020, killed eight policemen in one night. We trace his rise from a small-time criminal to a man who murdered a sitting state minister inside a police station and walked free, his eventual arrest under UP's Gangster Act, the meticulously planned Bikru ambush, the week-long manhunt that took him across four states, his dramatic capture at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple, and the encounter that ended his life 24 hours later — one that the Justice B.S. Chauhan Commission investigated, with findings that remain debated to this day. Key Topics Covered in This Video: Vikas Dubey's rise in Kanpur Dehat through political patronage across parties The 2001 murder of state minister Santosh Shukla inside Shivli police station How witnesses repeatedly turned hostile, letting him walk free case after case The Mohini Nawada land dispute that triggered the final confrontation The Bikru ambush on July 2, 2020 — the planning, the betrayal, and the deaths of 8 policemen The week-long manhunt and encounters of his associates across UP His 1,500-km flight across four states and capture at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple The final encounter and what the Chauhan Commission report revealed about the system that protected him Why This Story Matters: Vikas Dubey's story isn't just about one criminal — it's about a system that let him thrive for three decades, protected by politicians across parties and police officers who owed him favours. His death raised as many questions as it answered: was justice finally served, or was a convenient silence bought at the cost of due process? The official commission gave police a clean chit, but also confirmed that local administration had shielded him for years. That contradiction — a man punished outside the courtroom after being protected by the system for decades — remains the most unsettling part of this story.
