Description

While Superman's rogues' gallery is filled with notorious names ranging from Lex Luthor and General Zod to Darkseid, Doomsday often towers over these other villains and has a special place in our hearts. First introduced in a cameo in Superman: The Man of Steel comic's 17th issue in 1992, Doomsday was the brainchild of Dan Jurgens, and while his origins establish that he was the result of a horrific experiment, he eventually went on to terrorize not just Superman but also the Justice League and the greater D.C. universe at large. Despite his gigantic appearance, he still remains an underrated villain with very few fans truly grasping his capabilities, and today, I will be taking you through his lore and anatomy, so we all get to know this mighty Superman villain a little better!
