How Did The OA (2016) End?

Imagine agreeing to watch a series that was recommended by your series buff friend who said something along the lines that “YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GIVE IT A WATCH!” with a lot of exclamation points! And then you watch this show and it does something that I don’t think any viewers would have expected like I think it’s general knowledge by now that many shows have the tendency to get cancelled right when it is getting good or has dropped this massive cliffhanger that keeps you on your toes. But this series that I watched, The OA is, I think, the only show where the cliffhanger ends with its main character who is being rushed to an ambulance by production people and they call the character by her real name and meanwhile the character who is the villain of the series calmly tells them that he is ‘Jason Isaacs’ exactly who is playing the role of villain and after watching this you must be like what!? So, that’s The OA, created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij and they had this whole story mapped out for five seasons with all sorts of parallel dimensions, near-death experiences and of course we can’t forget about the dance which has the possibility of saving your life. And then what happened, nothing just that Netflix decided to cancel just after two seasons. So, today we are deep diving into how the OA actually ended and how the finale kind of predicted the mess that was coming, so let’s begin! Fair warning there will be some major spoilers ahead!
