Description

Hello guys, and welcome back! So a soldier dies on a battlefield in Vietnam in 1969. But then, twenty-three years later, he gets back up again. He has no real identity, a number instead of an actual name, a lens covering one eye and a body that could overheat badly enough to shut him down. So he’s a Universal Soldier or a UniSol, a dead man rebuilt into a weapon. But what exactly had been rebuilt? Is he a reanimated corpse? A cybernetic machine? Or a biological experiment that was just kept alive by technology? Across six films, the program evolves through cloning, remote control, experimental upgrades and even a cult-like transformation. And oh, I should warn you, there are gonna be major spoilers ahead for the films, comic and tie-ins. And with that, let’s start taking the UniSol apart, piece by piece.
