📗 Save Over $1,000 on Meat With My Butcher’s Money-Saving Methods: salpetralia.com
The free meat at Walmart is already in your cart. It is still on the bones you throw out: about six ounces on the frame of a $5.97 rotisserie chicken, and about a pound a week across the bones a normal house buys.
In this video, I show you the butcher's trick for getting the free meat off the bones you already buy at Walmart:
The rule my father gave me: a bone is not garbage until it has been picked and been through the pot
Three free checks: where the meat hides, whether it is still safe to pick (two hours), and a bowl on a kitchen scale
The $5.97 rotisserie chicken frame: the oysters, the wings, the ribs and the neck, about 6 ounces picked warm
The back and neck of a whole chicken at $1.87 a pound, about 4 ounces and 2 quarts of stock from three backs
Why I was wrong about the rotisserie chicken, and why it comes out about even with the raw bird
The blade bone from a bone-in pork butt, about 6 ounces that fall into the Sunday sauce
The turkey frame, the biggest one: about a pound and two ounces off a 14 pound bird, and a gallon of stock
The ham bone, picked, frozen, and finished in beans with escarole
The arithmetic: about $7 a week and about $364 a year

This meat is not free like a gift. You paid for it at the register, and picking it only stops you paying twice. My numbers are my scale in my kitchen, and Walmart prices near my son in New Jersey; yours will be different. If you live alone or will not cook stock this week, boneless is a fair buy. Refrigerate cooked meat within two hours and reheat poultry to 165 degrees.

What does a rotisserie chicken cost at your Walmart, how many ounces did you pick off the frame, and what town and state are you in? I read every one of these.
Pick it warm, weigh it, then boil the bones.
