Description
Unitree calls it the H2-X Kung Fu Legend Guardian. 182cm, 70kg, 31 joints, leg motors rated to 360 newton metres, roughly eight hours of battery.
The demo shows it denting cars with knees and elbows in a scrapyard, jumping off a four metre platform into a roll, stepping between a woman and an armed man, and lifting the front of a car so someone can be pulled out.
Two things Unitree hasn't said. How much of that was autonomous rather than remote controlled or pre-scripted, and whether the car was partly supported off camera during the lift, which some viewers think it was.
It also has no price, no release date, and TechRadar reckons it won't clear safety certification for general sale.
The timing explains the spectacle. Unitree listed on Shanghai's STAR Market on August 19, priced near a $9 billion valuation, and closed day one up 487% at about $53 billion. Retail investors oversubscribed it 8,000 times. By late September the stock had fallen more than half from its opening price.
They ship more humanoids than anyone, over 5,500 in 2025. They also have a share price to feed now.
