How Atiku blocked Nigeria’s electricity generation for 23 years

A onetime VP of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been accused of collecting bribe for contract in an arbitration case between Nigeria and a contracting firm - Sunrise Power Lena Adesanya, the owner of the company exposed Atiku’s under the table deal by telling the arbitration panel that he paid $500k to the bank account of Atikus wife shortly before the contract was awarded in 2003. Atiku has not denied this accusation, he seems to shrug it off as though this is a normal way of life. This is the same man who was indicted in Halliburton’s scandal, in which about $40,000 was wired, also to this same wife of his at the time - Jennifer Douglas, there are many many corrupt practices uncovered during his time in the privatisation of Nigerias assets. Is this the man who should be aspiring to lead Nigeria? The arbitration panel in Paris also indicted Mallam Abubakar Malami, a former AGF, that he was described as a crooked public officer who worked against his own country in order to cut a deal for himself.
