Description
While the ruling APC has now unveiled “the mother of all coalitions” as its presidential council to prosecute the 2027 presidential elections, the opposition parties are still in bit and pieces, they still could not agree on who should be at the head of a joint ticket
But even if they were to merge today, do their Volkswagen have a chance against APC trailer? I sincerely doubt. NDC’s Peter Obi is a rockstar in the South East and is likely to win majority votes there, he does not much of a chance in other regions, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will do well in the North buy have no inch of a chance in any of the southern regions. There are no clear paths for these contenders, even if Atiku were to step down for Peter Obi, and vice versa, there is no guarantee that the North will vote for Obi or that the SE will vote for Atiku, whatever the opposition decides to at this point, whether they unite or disunite, they are in a Cul de Sac.
