Description

There is a man in the Qur'an whose name Allah سبحانه وتعالى never revealed, yet Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم was commanded to recite his story. He was given the signs of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, he was known among his people for answered supplication, and still he turned away. In this documentary, we follow what the Qur'an says about him in Surah Al-A'raf (7:175–177), what the early scholars of tafsir said about his identity, and the classical narrations about the day he climbed a mountain to supplicate against Prophet Musa عليه السلام. We clearly separate what is established in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah from what comes from later narrations (Isra'iliyyat), and we follow the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah throughout. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 – The man the Qur'an never named 01:00 – Surah Al-A'raf 7:175: given the signs, then he left them 04:19 – Who was he? The name Bal'am ibn Ba'ura, the request of his people, the donkey, the mountain, and his tongue falling to his chest come from later narrations recorded by the scholars of tafsir, many of them traced back to the People of the Book. We share them as the scholars did, to explain the verse, not as confirmed history. And Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows best. 🔔 Subscribe to Iman Aldeen TV for more cinematic Islamic documentaries rooted in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah. #SurahAlAraf #Quran #IslamicStories #IslamicDocumentary #Tafsir #IslamicReminder #BalamBinBaura
