Who Will Be the First Person Clothed on the Day of Judgment — and Why? On the Day of Resurrection, every person who has ever lived will stand on one plain, barefoot and uncovered, exactly as they were first created. Yet the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم told his companions that one person will be clothed before all of creation, and he named him. In this video we follow the story from the beginning: the young man who questioned the false idols of his people, the fire that was commanded to be cool and safe, the du'a he made about a Day he had not yet seen, and the authentic sermon in which the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم revealed the first garment of the Day of Resurrection. We also look at why scholars think it was given to إبراهيم عليه السلام, whether this places him above the final Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم, and the meeting between إبراهيم عليه السلام and his father on that Day.
