Description
$35 Appetizer Challenge — four game day appetizers, a dip, and a full party board on a real grocery budget.
My sister Laura and I challenged each other: build a party spread for $35 with at least three different elements, and neither of us knows what the other one made. I put together crack dip, homemade pizza rolls, burger bites on crackers, and three-ingredient Scottish shortbread — then filled in the board with veggies, apples, and chips. Did I stay on budget? Well… I came in $1.37 over, and I'll tell you exactly whose fault that was. Two of my grandsons showed up to taste test, so you'll get the honest verdict.
