Description
🍞 EVERY BREAD OUR OLD SICILIAN KITCHEN MADE, IN SIX BOOKS 👉 https://nicoferrarokitchen.com/ 👈
The whole Sunday table, suppers for two, a dough for every season, and what to do with everything left over.
Take a ball of raw bread dough, flatten it, and set it in a skillet. Twenty minutes on your smallest burner and you lift out a real loaf, brown on both sides, soft in the middle. The oven never comes on.
If you tried this before and got a black bottom and a raw middle, it was not the pan. It was four small mistakes, and all four happen before the flame is lit.
One of them is the opposite of everything frying ever taught you. And a plain kitchen towel decides if the top comes out dry or gummy.
Tell me in the comments: was there ever a time the oven was broken or the power was out, and somebody in your family still put supper on the table? What did they cook it on?
