Tennessee Just Made Deer Baiting Legal — And Most Hunters Don't Know the Catch

Deer Book: http://wendellcoffey.com/deer Wendell Coffey On the first of August, Tennessee started selling a fifty-dollar card that lets a man hunt deer over bait. I spent thirty years as a wildlife officer writing men up for that exact sack of corn. Now it's legal. Just not the way most men put it out. In this video: - The 7 things you can legally put out with the card, and the 16 you still can't - Why a pile of corn is a violation all by itself, card or no card - Why the store's strawberry deer corn is legal and your grape drink mix isn't - The five catches: a card for every man, 25 pounds a day per site, one site per five acres, the disease zone, and the bear - The honest math: the card against a season of corn I worked in Tennessee only. If you hunt anywhere else, I'd be guessing at your law. Pull your own regulations before a single bag touches the ground. Tell me what your daddy put out before any of it came in a bag, what state you hunt, and whether you're buying the card. — Wendell
