New Mexico 1986 Anthonette Cayedito Cold Case — Details Left Community in Disbelief

In April 1986, nine-year-old Anthonette Cayedito disappeared from her family's apartment in Gallup, New Mexico. There was no forced entry, no struggle, and no witnesses — until her younger sister came forward years later with a completely different account of that night. Then, in April 1987, a full year after Anthonette vanished, a Gallup police dispatcher got a call. A frightened girl's voice said, "I'm Anthonette Cayedito... I'm in Albuquerque." A man shouted in the background. The line went dead in under 40 seconds. This video breaks down the timeline, the contradictions between family members, the multiple failed polygraphs, and why investigators believe the truth was never fully told. Anthonette Cayedito has never been found, and her case remains open today. If you think someone in that apartment knew more than they said, let us know in the comments.
